Probably the easiest, cheapest and fastest way to back up your data is to burn them to a CD or DVD. Most computer today come with a CD or DVD burner (recorder). Usually software comes with the hardware; software like Roxio or Sonic. You can even use the utility in XP or Vista.

How to stop Windows XP from asking if you want to "Send Error Report"
If you have used Windows XP for more than a day, then you know that you will have a program crash on you. I want to get the program running again and get back to what I was doing. But Windows will give you a message and ask if you want to send an error report.
The "Send Error Report" request can be disabled. It is easy, just:
Right click on My Computer and select Properties.
Click on the Advanced tab.
At the bottom of the window, select Error Reporting.
Click the Disable error reporting button.
Click OK twice.
That’s it. Now no more annoying error reporting messages in Windows XP .
