Does your desk top look like this one here?

What is wrong with this picture? Most would say nothing, my desktop looks like that.

The desktop is a handy place to put items that you want quick access to or that you use often.

There is one problem with putting items/files on your desktop. Every time you log into your profile, all those files and links to the files can slow down your system. Not to mention the unorganized look making it difficult to find what you need.

Go ahead and clean off your desk top. Put files in folders in your My Documents folder. You can put links to those folders on your desktop which is much more organized and efficient that having all those files on your desktop.
