HP has released Web JetAdmin version 10.2. HP states that JetAdmin is compatible with Windows 7, however, I have had troubles getting HP Web Jetadmin to work in Windows 7.
Unfortunately for me, HP Web JetAdmin v10.2 will not run in Windows 7 like earlier versions of JetAdmin.
I have had previous versions of JetAdmin work in Windows 7 but not v10.2. When I reloaded my computer, I was unable to find HP Web JetAdmin version 10.0 on the HP.com web site.
Previous versions of HP Web JetAdmin are not available at hp.com for downloading. Luckily, I was able to find a previous version in one of my back ups. I found version 10.0.34646. You can download it here: HP Web JetAdmin version 10.0.34646.

Your computer may be running slow because of programs running in the background. Some programs, when installed, will set themselves to start and run automatically when the computer starts up. You may not know that these programs are starting and running in the background.
For most programs it is not necessary to have them running in the background, you only need them running when you start the program. The trick is to find which programs are running at start up and disable them.
I use a program called System Explorer that shows me which programs are running at start up and I can also disable them right there in System Explorer.
System Explorer is a free program that is easy to use and has many features. Editing start-up programs is only one feature.
Download and install System Explorer. Start the program. You will need to run the program as an administrator, just right click on the icon and select “Run as administer”. Click on the blue link next to the Show Menu icon (see image below).
Select “System” “Startups”.
All programs listed under “Enabled” are the programs/applications running at start up.
Now you can right click on the application that you do not want running in the background and select either “Disable Startup Item” or “Delete Startup Item”.
If you are not sure which programs to delete, you can disable the program instead or leave it alone for now. You can download System explorer for free at the System Explorer download page.
