As a member of an IT department, we hear some good comments and quotes that are funny to those in the IT field. Here are some of the silly comments/quotes that our technology department received in the past few weeks.
1. “Once I get to Google, how do I get to the Internet?” When showing a user how to search the Internet because the desktop did not look the same as his desktop at home.
2. “I get wireless for free.” When a user was asked who is her Internet service provider. She is getting a wireless connection from her neighbor who is unaware she is using the connection.
3. “If the wireless comes into my apartment, I can use it for free.” Same as number 2.
4. “Is the battery the same as wireless?” When explaining to a new laptop owner how to use the wireless Internet connection.
5. “This may be a dumb question, but…” This one is self explanatory.
