Have you ever needed to view two or more windows at once or side-by-side? Many times I find myself needing to view two windows at once whether to compare two documents or compare or move files or folders in Windows Explorer.
You can open the windows and move and size them manually, which takes some time. Fortunately, Windows has an easy way to display two or more windows at once with just a few mouse clicks.
Tile Windows Vertically
Begin by making sure that any open program windows are minimized. This can be done by clicking the Minimize button in the upper right hand corner of the window.

Programs can also be minimized by right clicking the running task in the task bar. Select the Minimize option.

Now open at least two windows that you want to have open side-by-side. Make sure that the two windows are Maximized.
Note: You will only see one of the Maximized windows, but the second is maximized behind the first.
Place your cursor on any open area on the Task Bar and right click. Select Tile Windows Vertically. Note: For this example, vertical tiling is used, you may choose to use horizontal tiling.

Windows will automatically tile your windows evenly on the desk top. See the images below.
